Congratulations on the tiny one

Hi
This card is inspired by the pitter patter of tiny foot steps.

To make this CAS style card, I stamped the foot print image on a white card with onyx black ink. Then I stamped the sentiment in black under it. To finish the card I added the word die cut ‘congrats’ to go with the sentiment. For dimension I stacked two word die cuts on top of each other.

Hope you liked the card

Have a nice day

You are a Star

Hi,

Sharing this card that I made to play along with CASology challenge – cue word is ‘Tiny’

I had this tiny die by lawnfawn of a star n I thought it would go well with the challenge. This time instead of white space, I am focusing on leave a lot of clear n clean space in Black. I hope that also counts as CAS. I guess I am learning on the go.

Hope you liked the card.

Have a great day

So Thankful

Sharing a card that I made inspired by the sketch at CASE this sketch Challenge. The sentiment is inspired by Just us girls Challenge. I have used many Crafting trends like smooshing with distress oxide inks, emboss resist, gold thread and sequins to play along with the trends Challenge at inkspirational.

To make this card I first heat embossed with white on a water color card stock. The stampset is from simon says stamp, it’s called “look for the miracles”.

To match the design on the sketch I used   ink squooshing technique with distress oxide inks. The emboss resist technique works so well with these inks.

I then added golden thread and sequins before sticking the white heat embossed ‘Thank you’ sentiment on a black card stock with foam squares for dimension. I loved the small detail near the sentiment on the sketch and added one on mine too.

To match the variety of white foliage in the sketch, I added white die cut leaves. I wanted these new additional leaves to be different than the ones already embossed in texture and shape.  I love how the additional leaves tied in with the card.

To finish the card, I stuck my card panel on to a black card base that is slightly bigger so that it will provide a border to the white card front.

I had a great time playing along with the challenges and making this card.

Hope you like it. Do let me know what you think about it in the comments section.

Watercolors – CAS Flower card

Tried my hands on watercolors with one of my favorite flower stamps. This stamp is from altenew beautiful day stampset.

To make this card I first stamped the flower n leaves on a water color card stock with versafine onyx black ink. I then colored the images with water colors. After the images dried I die cut the images with coordinating dies and stuck them on my card front. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a black card stock n stuck in place. To finish the card I added the black, blue and violet mats and stuck everything on a card base.

Hope you like this clean n simple water colored flower card.

Shaken not stirred

Hi, here’s yet another entry for the AAACard Challenge inspired by films

I think we all have grown up watching generations of 007 movies packed with adventure, action n thrill.

Over the years the actors playing the classy super spy changed, locations changed, Villians changed,  but what remained constant was this man’s drink n the precise manner in which he wants it made…

So here’s to Mr. Bond, James bond.
