I love crafting with kids, playing with them, learning with them and doing goofy stuff with them. This space is for the fun stuff with my son (Ishaan) and all the other kids.
Crating workshop at HEAL PARADISE VILLAGE
Rightly named so, this place is a Paradise for kids to be nurtured and to realize their full potential. This ambitious project is home for 1,000 orphaned and underprivileged children of all age groups. In addition to quality education, health facilities and state of the art infrastructure, the children are provided with many opportunities to explore and excel in the field of arts and crafts.
It was an absolute delight to demonstrate various stamping and card making techniques to the kids and staff of an institution that practice sending handmade thank you cards.
The participants were divided into teams and given supplies to design and make a card at the end of the session. The whole auditorium was filled with creative energy as we sat in teams and crafted for hours together.

My son Ishaan and I had the lovely opportunity to craft and make cards with the kids there. They were all so attentive to what i was showing them and very quick to grasp the stamping process. Ishaan demonstrated a card and I was assisting the kids. We used a multi layering stamp and the results were beautiful. It was a fun and memorable crafting day for all of us.
Ishaan’s Quilling project
My son Ishu (short for Ishaan) was gifted a quilling kit for his birthday and that’s when we both started quilling.
I love how he is into quilling and wants to try out different styles of flowers.
This is the gift he made for my parents for their anniversary. Its needless to say the grandparents were very touched by his effort and thoughtfulness.
