Diwali is a Hindu Festival of lights and its marked by decorating the houses with lights and having fun with fireworks.. It’s an occasion to wish your loved ones joy and prosperity.

Card 1 : Ranganjali Radiant Rakhi Die Set

IMG_1921

To make this card I die cut some glitter card stock in different colors using the Ranganjali Radiant Rakhi Die Set.  Then on a white card base I adhered the die cuts in the patterns of my choice.

IMG_1924

I really love the gorgeous patterns and the intricate design on this die set.  It’s a set with four dies that can be used independently as well as together.

To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Ranganjali Rakshabandhan Wishes Clear Stamp Set and mounted it on a deep red card base.

Card 2 : Ranganjali Fancy Fireworks

1

I made this card using the Ranganjali Fancy Fireworks die . On a black card stock I die cut with the fireworks die twice.

2

I die cut some glitter card stock with the same die and then in laid the little star pieces.

3

To finish the card i added a die cut sentiment and mounted it on a white card base.

Card 3: Ranganjali Radiant Rakhi Die Set

1

Isn’t it fun to stretch the dies and use them in other ways than intended?? I used this piece from the Rakhi builder set that was supposed to be the part connecting the rakhi to the threads.. here i have used it was Diwali lanterns .

2

To make this card I die cut this piece in different glitter card stock and then adhered them on a black card stock that had a string in gold.

I then heat embossed the sentiment in white that says “Best wishes for Diwali ” in hindi. I really love the font of this sentiment.

Random Act of Cardness

Hello There!

I am so glad you are joining me today!

I made this card with the white scraps that where left on my table from the previous project

IMG_1587.JPG

Tiny fun elements like these are best for using up the scraps we create from other projects

IMG_1588.JPG

Simple coloring made this project super easy to complete.
