IMG_20190821_020423.jpg

I made this card using the Bloomdala Coffee Cup stamps Digital Stamps + Thanks a latte phrase Die – CUTplorations from STAMPlorations Digital Stamps.  This stamp set comes in sets of coffee cups with stunning designs on them … I would really encourage you to try out these digis by Stamplorations.

IMG_20190821_020438.jpg

I first colored the images with copic markers and added details with prisma color pencils. I cut the colored images and the added a twine in the back to make it into a bookmark.  I then inked the frame with Retro Circles Stencil using the distress inks .

IMG_20190821_020429.jpg

I then cut two slits in the stenciled card base and placed the coffee cup book marks in it. I then die cut the sentiment using the “Thanks a Latte” phrase die in black card stock and adhered it to the card. To finish the card i matted it on black card base leaving a boarder all around.

Here’s PROJECT 2 : Birthday Floral Mug

IMG_1524.JPG

To make this card i first printed one of this mug with floral arrangements from the Cupful of Blossom Digital Stamps from STAMPlorations Digital Stamps on to a cardstock and colored it using copic markers and pencil colors. This stamp set consists of 6 absolutely stunning and beautiful floral arrangements.

IMG_1528.JPG

Then i took a white card panel and added masking tape to all the four edges. I inked the card stock with distress ink. Once the process of ink blending was over i peeled of the masking tape to revel crisp white edges.

IMG_1520.JPG

I then adhered the colored image to the inked panel. For the sentiment I used the Birthday word Die – CUTplorations and cut it once on a black card stock and twice on white card stock  I adhered all the die cuts together and finally adhered it to a black card base.

Tubby Craft – Fabulous July Release

Hello There!

It’s Bharati here thank you for joining me. I have a couple of fun projects today that i want to share with you. I am excited to be showcasing the stamps from the July Release by Tubby craft.

Project 1 : Layered Card with Floral Design

To make this card I used the images from Flourish Elements stamp set. First I stamped the image using the acrylic block by Tubby Craft  with versafine ink and heat embossed the images with the satin white embossing powder on a white card stock.

Picture9

On the embossed card stock I ink blended using the combination of Tubby Craft inks called – Aqua, Turquoise Blue, Sapphire blue. I love how the beautiful design pops against blues.

Picture11

I then die cut the inked panel and also die cut a few other panels of card stock to layer the inked panel and build it into a card.

Picture12.png

For the sentiment I heat embossed a stamp from Plumeria Florals on a strip of black card stock that i cut into a banner.

Picture13.png

To finish the card I adhered all the layers with foam tape to add dimension.

Project 2 : Simple Card with overlay stamping

This next card is very simple to create using the DIY background Stamp set. To make this card I took a rectangular card stock and rounded off the edges. I also added soft inking to the sides of the white card stock using the Light Pink ink by Tubby Craft

Picture1.png

Then using the acrylic blocks by Tubby craft I stamped the images from DIY background Stamp set to create a look of a gift box with the bow and the strips.  I used a combination of inks by Tubby Craft – Light Pink, Raspberry & Sapphire Blue.

Picture3.png

Once the gift box was ready, I stamped the image of a toy and the sentiment from the latest stamp set called Boy & Girl. This completes the main focal point of card.  To stamp the image of the baby toy i used Tubby Craft’s Aqua Blue ink and for the sentiment I used Jet black ink.

Picture4.png

To assemble the card I inked the background with the shades of blue inks – Aqua, Turquoise Blue, Sapphire blue. I then adhered the finished gift box focal point and finally added a scalloped border to frame the entire card.

AAA Cards – #146 – Along the edge

Hello There!
Welcome to a new challenge at AAA Cards.
Its time for the next challenge and its perfect for making CAS card.  The challenge is to make a card with something only “Along the Edge” with an optional twist of inspired by a song.
Recently I saw this movie called “Call me by your name”. It’s a beautiful story that touches upon the subject of “love is love”. It’s a story of two men discovering their love for each other and the also the supporting role one of the man’s parents play. I was so touched and inspired by the story and the parenting style.
One of the songs that lingered in my mind and kept on playing in my mind from this movie is “Mystery of love”. I moment i felt the song was fading away in my brain.. i started listening to it in a loop for days together… I confess i am crazy like that.
So i made this card inspired by the song and the movie
Here’s My take : “Rainbow Love”. I support the thought that love is love and everyone should have the freedom to express, experience and feel the affection of the person you love. No one should be discriminated on the basis of who they choose to love. Love is the only bond that can hold all the humankind together and that is what we need in the world all over.
aaa 7.JPG
For this card I got a few inks and a stencil out. I then stencilled the with the inks along the edge the heart shape in rainbow colors.
aaa 7 - Copy (2).JPG  th3DY0M3VN.jpg
As i was inking the card with rainbow hearts i was listening to this very song .
The following lines touched my heart so much ……..
“Oh, will wonders ever cease?
Blessed be the mystery of love
For the sentiment I inked a card stock in diagonal lines with rainbow colors and the die cut the word Hey Love from it. I then adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front to finish the card.

I used die cuts of the sun, clouds, tree, grass , house etc…. which gives a nice overall look to the card.

IMG_1565.JPG

I did copic coloring on a few elements and ink blending on other. There a lil usage of pattern paper as well

Quick Bookmarks – Tubby Craft Stamps

Hello There!

It’s Bharati here with ideas for some quick book marks using the Tubby craft supplies.

Book marks make such quick projects to complete and they can be easily produced in greater numbers. I use the book marks as every day gifts or return gifts. Sometimes we exchange books with our my friends and then i add these book marks while returning the book. A sweet little something to brighten anyone’s day.

Project 1 : Coffee & Books

To make these bookmarks I used the stamp by tubby crafts called “Bookmark quote”. I just love this one with combination of books and coffee.

To make these book marks is super easy. I used some of the scrap card stock that i have and stamped the images using the combination of Tubby Craft inks called – Aqua, Sapphire blue.  Then I stamped the tiny book image Auqa ink all other the paper.

Picture5.png

Project 2 : Adorable Unicorn

The next bunch of book marks that i made are using the “Unicorn Dreams” stamp set. The unicorn in this stampset is beyond being cute and adorable…. So on my scrap strips of card stock I stamped the image of the unicorn using Tubby Craft ink called Jet black. I also stamped the sentiment on this one from some other stamp set that i had.

Picture7.png

Once all the stamping was done , i punched the holes on the paper and tied the twin to finish the book marks. I also rounded the corners of all the bookmarks to all a little more interest.
