Here’s my card

I have to be honest, i am a bit scared of one layer cards. I guess, that’s because i feel i have very less scope for error. So this is completely out of my comfort zone.

I began with coloring this cute and adorable image by Penny Black Stamps. I think the set is called critters in love.

After coloring, the image, i masked it with liquid masking fluid and inked the background with a bit of blue and green.

Tip: Please be patient for the masking fluid to dry. You may use a masking paper or masking tape as well.

After inking, i then peeled the masking and stamped the sentiment. Voila! the card is ready.

  1. Well you need never to be scared of one layer cards again – this is an absolute beauty! And although the hedgehog is mega cute, it’s the way that you’ve coloured and placed him that really drew my eye.

  2. Hi I visited to see what stamp and techniques you were using. Such a beautiful card. But what you have written about being ‘scared’ of ruining & out of comfort zone. Certainly, something I can identify with, and I’m sure other crafters – it’s that THROWING AWAY AN EFFORT that went wrong, We all do that. Like cutting into a new piece of card when all you want is a tiny bit and spending hours going through the ‘bit’ box. REGARDS x
