Welcome to the another amazing challenge at AAACards. The challenge format now has a twist and is made more interesting for you to create wonderful Clean And Simple cards.
Here’s My Card with the theme and the twist
Masking is one of the best techniques to create a CAS card and to cluster images on a card. To make this card i used masking tape as well as masking paper, inks by tubby craft and stampset by CAS-ual Fridays.
I first stamped the image in shades of pink using inks by Tubby craft and then masked it completely before stamping the image in shades of blue inks by Tubby Craft. I then masked both the images and used a masking tape before i inked the lower part of the card front.
I finally stamped the sentiment from the stampset and adhered the card front to a soft pink card base.

Welcome back to the CASology challenge. As the world is covered in snow, you have a perfect cue word to be inspired by the winter around you.
Here’s my take:
First i stamped and colored this cute image by Gerda Steiner Designs with alcohol markers and fussy cut it.
Next i inked the card base in blue and heat embossed a few snow flakes in white. I made sure that the inking aligns to the window which i die cut from a white card stock.
I then adhered the image, the cardstock with the window cut in it and the card base with foam tape for added dimension.
I finally stamped the sentiment.
What’s your take? I hope my card inspires you to join us at CASology and gets you to crafting. Do play along with us, just remember to keep it CAS. The following CAS guidelines should be of help when creating your design:
One main image
Lots of open space, uncluttered
Limited layers & embellishments
Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Welcome to my blog. Do you like to craft on the go! Well i just love to. Creating with less supplies and on clock makes me more focused. Recently i was traveling and decided to experiment with watercolors.
I ended up making these watercolor backgrounds on the move. Once i came home, i turned them into bookmarks for my son, hubby & sis-in law.
They all love to read. I wish i read as much as they do. “Read more” is always on my resolution list, right next to “eat less”. Lol!!
I punched the holes and threaded twine and to convert these tags with watercolor background into bookmarks, all I had to do was heat emboss in black these lovely and adorable images from the stamp set “Silly book monsters” by Your Next Stamp.
Hope you like these. do let me know what do you think about these and if you too love to craft on the go.
In my last blog post I had introduced you to Pattieboop and her pet cat Allie. This time we meet penguin who is available in different scenes at Pattie’s creations.
For this card, I first Colored the adorable image of Penguin Igloo with copic markers and fussy cut it.
I then inked the background with distress inks and added white dots in various sizes with white pen. I had so much fun making this. Later i die cut some white card stock to form snow banks.
I then added some snow with the snow pen and heat set it. To finish the card i adhered the colored image to a black card base.
I hope my card inspires you to playing with us and share your lovely birthday cards. REMEMBER, if you use one of Pattie’s images you get an extra entry to the challenge… Just make sure to please give her the credit for the images. Have Fun!!!
