First Card : Christmas Scene in a Room

Picture1

To make this card I first created the scene of a room using the Dye Inks by Tubby Crafts as water colors.  The Tubby craft inks i used are Magenta, Jet Black, Chinese Blue, Lemon Yellow and Tangy Orange.

Picture3.jpg

I them stamped the images of this cute girl and wonderful Christmas tree from “Shine on” stamp set in jet black ink and colored those with copic markers and pencils before fussy cutting and adhering the images to the scene.

Picture4

I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in black to finish the card.

Here’s the final look.

I am playing with a couple of challenges with this card:

Second Project : Clean and Simple Christmas Card

Picture6.jpg

The second card is more of a Clean and Simple take on the Christmas theme.

Picture8

I first stamped the sentiment from the “Christmas Wishes” stamp set and heat embossed it in gold. I then added the cute Holly images from the “Shine on” stamp set after stamping, coloring and fussy cutting those.

Picture9I am so much in love with this image of the Christmas tree as it is the perfect size, shape and festive looking. This tree is a part of the “Shine on” stamp set. I had stamped the image with Jet Black ink by Tubby craft and then added coloring with alcohol markers and pencils. I filled the circular decorations on the tree with nuvo crystal drops.

Picture10.jpg

I love how this card looks. The white space compliments the gold and colors on the tree.

To make this card i first inked the background with the gorgeous blue inks by tubby crafts. I used Sapphire blue, Aqua Blue, Chinese Blue and Turquoise Blue inks. I flicked some water and lifted it using a dry cloth. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiments on to the inked panel.

I then stamped these lovely number stamps on to copic friendly cardstock with Tubby craft black ink and colored the images with alcohol markers, before fussy cutting them. The dash lines around the number adds wonderful interest to the stamps and the cute critters make these stamps super fun. Winter / Christmas Theme at Pattie’s Creations Challenge

Hello There!

IMG_6745.PNG

I am back with the next challenge theme at Pattie’s Creations Challenge, which is a theme based monthly challenge starting on 1st friday of every month with many wonderful prizes and  showcases.

The theme for Decemeber 2019 is  – “Winter / Christmas”

Just perfect for this festive season

Here’s my card using the “Pattieboop and Allie waiting for Santa ” .

1.JPG

IMG_6744.JPGIn my last blog post I had introduced you to Pattieboop. Today, i introduce you to her favorite pet named Allie.  cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Allie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief… Allie loves to act with Pattieboop and you will see them in some very funny situations.

2.JPG

For this card, I first Colored the adorable image of Pattieboop and Allie with copic markers. I enjoyed coloring the Christmas tree and dressing it up with nuvo drops in red. To give a wooden texture to the window frame i added some curvy lines and fussy cut the window frame. I folded and opened both the window doors.  I then added some snow with the snow pen and heat set it. To finish the card i adhered the colored image to a pattern paper with winter scene.

3

I love the dimension the folded doors of the window, the nuvo drops and the snow provide to this card. I had so much fun making this.

I hope my card inspires you to playing with us and share your lovely birthday cards. REMEMBER, if you use one of Pattie’s images you get an extra entry to the challenge… Just make sure to please give her the credit for the images. Have Fun!!!
