Today I am sharing a simple and fun card that involves emboss resist.
For this card I first arranged the tiny floral stamps on to my Misti. I then stamped the images with versamark ink and white heat embossed the panel. I then added distress inks on top to give a smooth gradient of warm colours. To finish the card I adhered the sentiment which is a word die cut.
I am playing along with time out challenge with the warm colours n inkspirational challenge with the small stamps.
I hope you liked this card. Do let me know what you think about it.
So glad you are joining me as I share a floral card made of small stamps.
For this card I first did water color stamping withdistess inks and clear heat embossed to lock the colours and then inked the card panel with distress inks in shades of blue. Once the panel was ready I cut it and mated it as per my card design. I add the word die cut for sentiment to finish the card.
I am so happy with the texture and colours on this card. I hope you liked it too.
This card is inspired by the challenge at inkspirational challenge where the challenge is to use small stamps.
That’s all for now. Have a great day and do let me know what you think about the card. I appreciate and love reading your comments.
Happy crafting & Hugs
Let’s jump right in to the next challenge, where the cue word is Bear
Now we all have multiple bear stamps and sentiments… don’t we. This is a great opportunity to use them.
Here’s my take:
For this card I colored the bear image from critter costume party stampset with Copic markers and die cut it with coordinating dies. Then on my card front I had first used a stencil to ink the rays. I then adhered the colored image and sentiment to finish the card.
I am really excited to share a card that I made following the tutorial by the amazingly awesome Jennifer McGuire. I am always in complete awe of the ways she comes up with various fabulous techniques. Simply Hats Off to her.
So here ‘s my card:
I really love the super glossy look that’s achieved from using glossy accents and double embossing. I used warm colors and golden embossing for a happy and bright card.
I gifted this card to my parents and they are using this as a fridge magnet since its quite sturdy.
I hope you liked my take on Jennifer’s tutorial and I strongly recommend you to try this technique as its just amazing.
Please do let me know what you think about my work. I really appreciate your comments and love reading them.
Hello There !
Today i am very exited to share a project that i made using water colors.
I first water colored the flowers from spring bouquet stamp set by Avery Elle which are my favourite n fussy cut the image. I then inked my background using stencil by craft angles and distress inks.
I used foam squares to adhere the flowers to the background for dimension. I finished the card by white heat embossing the sentiment and adding a few embellishments.
I am playing along with Calling all sistahs as the card is inspired by the flowers n colours on the challenge graphic
I am also playing with The flower challenge where the theme is to pick any of their previous challenges. Oh! So many options ha ha ha… since these flowers are my favourite I picked to play with their challenge #13 – use your favourite flower.
Thankyou for stopping by and I hope you like my card. Do let me know what you think about it in the comments. I really appreciate them and love reading them.
Hello There !
Happy Sunday and i am so glad your joining me today for the next AAA Cards Challenge!
The theme this time is FRAMES.
Isn’t it just perfect to inspire a Clean and Simple design. Here are a few ideas to help you start – frame your focal point using die cuts, stamping around the focal point, use the stamp of a frame, stamp your sentiment inside a frame, create a scene inside a window or frame your image with the sentiment. Whatever be the technique you use, keeping the design framed and contained will surely enhance the CAS look and maximize the white space. So join us with your creative take on the theme FRAMES.
Here’s my take on the challenge:
For my card I first stamped and colored this adorable frame from the Flirty frames stamp set by Lawn Fawn. Then I stamped the tiny branch and the cute lil birdie from the Season’s Tweetings stamp set by Lawn Fawn. This sweet lil bird reminded me of one of my favorite childhood cartoon characters – Tweety. So I colored it yellow and gave it a blue cap. I wanted to make the branch appear as if it was somewhere high and so I masked the bird and the branch to ink a few clouds in the background of the frame. I finished the card by stamping a few pretty flowers and the sentiment in scripty font from the Flirty frames stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
I hope my cards inspires you to play along AAA Cards challenge and gets you crafting to make some handmade happiness for your loved ones. Just remember to KEEP IT CAS (Clean And Simple).
