Vintage card with pages from old books

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card that I made using pages from old books. All the paper of different layers of this card as well as the butterfly embellishments is from old books. The soft blue flowers add to the vintage look.

I am playing along with rainbow craftykari November challenge with this card. The theme is vintage with this photo inspiration

I really enjoyed making this vintage style card, probably my first in this style. I am happy with how the torn and distressed layers of paper look on this card. I also had fun using various elements like burlap, lace, textured paste, chipboard , jute twine etc. which were in my stash for quite some time and we’re calling for some love.

I was really inspired by the different types of cards made by the DT at rainbow craftykari’s blog for this challenge.

I am also entering this card to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – Tear it up as it fits the theme very well.

I hope you like the card and do let me know what you think by leaving me your valuable comments. Always love to read those.

Have a great day!
